2. MINORITY STUDENT SPRINGBOARD TO A PHARMACY COLLEGE TEACHING CAREER PROGRAM "GATEWAY TO RESEARCH" SCHOLARSHIP
Outstanding minority Pharm.D. students as well as undergraduates in other science disciplines receive support for a faculty supervised research experience. 3. FIRST YEAR GRADUATE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
Outstanding pharmacy school graduates who are members of Kappa Epsilon, Phi Lambda Sigma and Rho Chi are encouraged to continue their advanced education in graduate school in the pharmaceutical sciences to gain advanced degrees (Ph.D.) of value to the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacy. Application Deadline: February 2, 2009

4. CLINICAL PHARMACY POST PHARM.D. FELLOWSHIPS IN THE BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH SCIENCES
Outstanding Pharm.D. graduates who have completed one or more post-doctoral residencies or fellowships can receive up to 2 years of support to obtain advanced education and training in relevant areas of the biomedical and related basic sciences in order to become competent clinical scientists. This award will not be made in 2009

5. PRE-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES
Outstanding advanced Ph.D. candidates receive up to three years of support for the Ph.D. degree in the pharmaceutical sciences at a U.S. school or college of pharmacy. Graduates move into professional positions in the pharmaceutical industry and into academic positions to train tomorrow's pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists. Application Deadline: March 2, 2009
